“what we had, and while we had it, was good, though we have it no longer.
A dear friend shared these wise words recently. Closely relating to my life at present, they are beautifully honest although not all that uplifting. I know there will come a time when I have to accept this advice, although I am just not ready yet. Holding on to what could have been may be futile, but it’s my only comfort in this chilled, distanced existence. Until life becomes more solid and can have at least a little planning, I’ll be hanging on to what keeps me warn at night.
I don’t know if I am sad, lonely or just drunk
I seriously cannot wait to see people.
